Painting en plein air is especially rewarding when the equipment can all be contained in a backpack and no vehicle is required. I am fortunate to have an entrance to a 140- acre park complex at the end of my street. Largely composed of creeks, woods, ponds, marshes and meadows, there is an endless variety of compositions to paint that change with the seasons.
