We artists paint so many beach scenes, but there is so much mystery and beauty in the vastness of the ocean far from shore. Of course not a place for setting up an easel anywhere! For this painting I relied on some photographic reference, but as, or more importantly, from the feelings and memories from many boating/fishing trips over the years.
