I came across a piece of old copper plate and I was intrigued with the unique shades of green (ever find an old penny that was lying in a wet place)? Even as an avid painter, and someone who paints abstracts, I am not sure I can speak to the thought processes of making abstract art. For me, it is as simple as a fascination with a color or combination of colors.
