A vantage point of sitting on a beach one day in the Outer Banks presented this simple composition which appealed to me. A morning haze had not yet burned off which created a curious color in the clear water. The ocean was flat as a lake with no wind at all. So still, you could see the fins and tails of the baitfish cutting the surface of the water. There had been a shark attack not far from this spot just the day before. I watched the water quite closely.
