A quiet pond painted (with pastel sticks) on a quiet afternoon one endless summer day a few years ago. It’s subtle, painted when my palette was more limited; my work more tonalist/earthtone based. I am not sure though more color would have made it better. The soft light of the humid day created this mostly monochromatic feel. Sometime less is more.
