This piece was inspired by a walk through the woods one evening. I imagine some of those diamonds I painted when I got back to the studio are galaxies and quasars mixed in with a billion stars. Blows my mind thinking about it, each and every time. Maybe even more each passing year. Of course, my old friend the moon is never far and the Milky Way rounds out the scene. Looking at this image always makes me eager to go out there again.
